Course Breakdown

Module 1: Self-Care & the Nervous System

In the first module, you will learn about the nervous system, self-monitoring techniques, and stress intervention strategies to set you up for success. You’ll work through our Self Care Worksheet to establish these principles.

 

Module 2: Building a Positive Self Image

In Module 2, our focus shifts to establishing a healthy body image. This module includes a body image activity and discussions on developing a healthy relationship with the scale, helping you embrace and appreciate your body.

 

Module 3: Overcoming the All-or-Nothing Mentality

This module will help you move beyond the all-or-nothing mentality and develop a balanced approach to food and eating. Learn to conquer self-sabotage, and create a toolbox for emotional eating to cope with your feelings in a more productive way.. 

Module 4: The Downside of Dieting

Explore the pitfalls of traditional dieting and complete an instrumental diet history activity. This module paves the way for healing your relationship with food, emphasizing the principles of mindful eating.

 

Module 5: Embracing Mindful Eating Principles

Discover the principles of a mindful eater. This module will teach you how to implement gentle nutrition practices, using your knowledge to empower rather than guilt you.

 

Module 6: Deep Subconscious Work

To ensure the principles of mindful eating stick, we wrap up the course with deep subconscious work. This module aims to make mindful eating a lifelong habit, embedding these practices into your everyday life.

Hi, I'm Mallory King!

I’m Mallory King, Certified Personal Trainer & Nutritionist, and the founder of Fit Life Academy. My personal health journey began in childhood, as I struggled with my weight from the 2nd grade. At 21, a pivotal doctor’s visit revealed I was borderline obese, which became my wake-up call to reclaim my health.

In 2012, I embarked on a transformative journey to lose 75 pounds. I openly documented my progress and challenges on Instagram, fostering a community of support and transparency. This experience ignited my passion for helping others embrace a healthy lifestyle. By 2014, I became certified and started coaching, and over the past decade, I’ve guided over a thousand clients towards their fitness goals.
